The 2017 CLA Poker Run was another total “sell out” and great success that made for a fun filled day on beautiful Corey Lake. Thank you to everyone who participated in this years event, through your generous support we successfully raised $3,112 (after expenses) for some very worthy causes! Congratulations to this years winners and we hope you will all join us next year! Start planning your boat decoration theme now as we are planning on adding a best decorated boat award to next years event! While this event is fun it is important to also note that it also takes a great deal of planning and preparation to hold this event. Our event coordinators, Don & Liz Munro, did an outstanding job in putting this all together. Thank you to Don & Liz (and their kids too), for taking on this event and for all your hard work it is greatly appreciated by all!

This year our volunteer stops around the lake were graciously provided and hosted by the following CLA Members: Pam & Murray Malinowski, Judy & Carl Howe, Corey Lake Marina, Hanneke & Andre Verleum and Andrea & Jeff Krautkramer   It is our stop hosts and all those extra family and friends helping out at the stops who really make this a special event. Thank you all for hosting and for sharing with all of us throughout the day!

Thank you to Camp Eberhart for allowing us to use the area around the island. This is a wonderful gathering spot that everyone loves! This year all event support activities were performed on a floating barge (courtesy of Wake Side Marine), no event activities were conducted on the island.
